It is the mission and purpose of the Jude Project to translate and publish biblical training resources for Christians in the Middle East. We pursue this mission in three ways.
Jude Project employs highly qualified linguists who have both the linguistic and theological training to produce high quality translations of important theological works. The translation projects are managed by full-time staff while translation is completed by full-time staff, part-time contractors, and volunteers.
Examples of translation projects include seminary-level course books for pastors and seminary students; study series for small groups; translation and voice-over for video courses.
Not everyone will want to (or be able to) complete full length seminary level theological work. Therefore, Jude Project will also create derivative works from full length translations. Examples include summaries, workbooks, and video courses.
Translating seminary level theological writing requires a rare mix of linguistic ability and theological knowledge. In order to expand the pool of translators for Jude Project, as well as improve the quality of the translation projects, Jude Project will provide training for its translators.
