Sourik Saiadian
President Sourik was born to an Iranian-Armenian family in Northwest Iran. His ongoing desire to write and publish books was ignited in the early days of his faith when he was just sixteen years old and attending a local church in his hometown. He knew he had found his calling when he became a member of the Committee of Christian Literature of the Iranian Presbyterian Synod and began translating theological texts to provide Christians with literature that was, until his work, unavailable in their native languages. Sourik is currently the theological editor for Farsi translation of courses produced by Third Millennium Ministries. |
Ramsin Savra
Chief Digital Officer Born to an Iranian family, Ramsin joined the Jude project as the Chief Digital Officer to incorporate his expertise to advance the ministry of the gospel in the Middle East. Ramsin is a software developer holding degrees in computer engineering (software and digital electronic) engaging with different projects for the past two decades. He also is a graduate of Azusa Pacific Seminary with a Master in Divinity (Biblical Studies). He currently resides in the state of California and is a member of Orthodox Presbyterian Church. |
Hugh Whelchel
Author Hugh Whelchel brings a unique combination of executive responsibility, creative educational administration, and technical innovation from over thirty years of diverse business experience. Almost a decade ago, Hugh stepped out of a successful business career in the IT industry to share his experience of turning around unprofitable companies with Reformed Theological Seminary’s struggling Washington, DC, campus where he served as executive director and guest professor. Also, Hugh is the author of How Then Should We Work? Rediscovering the Biblical Doctrine of Work, released in May 2012. |
Rev. Tat Stewart
Founder, TALIM ministries Rev. Tat Stewart is a graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary with Masters in Divinity and has served for over twenty years as the Director of Persian ministries for the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church. He is the founder and director of TALIM ministries (www.Talimministries) which focuses on leadership training for Iranians. He also was one the founders and chairman of the board of SAT-7 PARS which is a 24/7 Iranian Christian satellite ministry geared to reaching Iran for Christ. Tat has been teaching discipleship training on satellite TV in Farsi for the past ten years. Tat is the son of Presbyterian medical missionaries to Iran. While growing up, he learned two of the languages of Iran. He met his future wife in Iran who was born in Mashad to missionary parents. He currently lives in Aurora, CO where he serves as the pastor of the Iranian Christian Church. He has been married to Patty for 45 years and has two children and five grandchildren. |
Dr. Scott Redd
Advisor Scott Redd is the president and an associate professor of Old Testament at the Washington, D.C., campus of Reformed Theological Seminary. He began his career at the Burson-Marsteller office in downtown Washington, but soon Scott left the business world to pursue a Master of Divinity at RTS/Orlando. He went on to complete his doctoral dissertation in the Department of Semitic Language and Egyptian Languages and Literatures at the Catholic University of America. During his doctoral studies, he taught at Fourth Presbyterian Church in Bethesda, Md., and ministered at Christ the King Presbyterian Church in Raleigh, N.C. In addition to RTS/Orlando, he has taught at Catholic University of America, the Augustine Theological Institute in Malta, the International Training Institute in Turkey, and Third Millennium Ministries. Scott has contributed academic work to several volumes as well as more popular pieces for The New York Times, The Washington Post and The Gospel Coalition website. Scott also sits on the board of trustees of the Washington Theological Consortium and the International Training Institute. Prior to arriving in Washington, Scott served as an assistant professor of Old Testament and dean of students at Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando. Scott was raised around the Washington area, attended W.T. Woodson High School and later The College of William and Mary, where he met his wife Jennifer. They currently live in McLean, Va., with their four daughters. |
Dr. Paul Jeon
Advisor Paul S. Jeon is the Senior Minister of NewCity in Northern Virginia. The church is made up of a diverse group of professionals from the greater DC area. For the last several years he has also been teaching New Testament at Reformed Theological Seminary. He is also the author of Introducing Romans, True Faith, To Exhort and Reprove, Empowered by Joy, and Living Purposefully. Dr. Jeon received a B.A. from Brown University, a M.Div. from Westminster Theological Seminary (East), a Ph.D. from The Catholic University of America, and, most recently, a M.B.A. from The George Washington University School of Business. |
Rev. Scott Seaton
Advisor Scott Seaton is the organizing pastor of Emmanuel Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Arlington, VA. He is married to his wife Chris and they have three children. Prior to being a church planter, Scott served with his denomination’s missions arm, as the International Director for Christian/Muslim ministry. He has traveled extensively, including trips to Iran, where he saw first-hand the need and the power of the gospel to change lives. |
Agshin Jafarov
Ordained Minister Agshin Jafarov is an ordained minister in Reformed Church in America and cross-cultural mission consultant serving to churches of Southwest Michigan. Currently he works with refugees and immigrants living in Southwest Michigan and does community outreach on behalf of Third Christian Reformed Church in Kalamazoo. Agshin received LL.M degree from Baku State University and later he graduated with M.Div and Th.M degrees from Western Theological Seminary, Holland MI. He has been doing ministry since 2006. He has published three books in his home country, Azerbaijan, and is specializing in Christian-Muslim relations, ministry to marginalized populations, community outreach and cross-cultural mission work. |
